This classroom sheet maker builds a printable attendance sheet, a reading log, or a class roster from a class name and a list of students. Paste one name per line, up to 40 names, and choose the sheet. Attendance lists students down the page and dates across, with at most 10 date columns you can leave blank or fill from a start date, skipping Saturday and Sunday when you want school days only. The reading log gives each student a line for the title, author, pages, date, and a parent initial. The roster is a numbered class list. The table stays in the browser, nothing is uploaded, and Print opens the browser print dialog.

A class list, then the sheet you need

Type the class name, then paste students with one name on each line. Blank lines are skipped, and extra spaces around a name are trimmed. The sheet keeps the first 40 names so the page stays usable, and any further lines remain in the box. Choose Attendance, Reading log, or Class roster. The table updates as you type, including a blank sheet when the list is empty.

Attendance is a printable attendance sheet: student names run down the left and up to 10 dates run across. Set a first date to fill those columns, or leave it empty and write the dates by hand. School days only skips Saturday and Sunday. Mark a box P for present, A for absent, T for tardy, or E for excused. A reading log gives every student one line for the title, the author, the pages, the date, and a parent initial. A class roster is the same list with a number beside each name. Print sheet opens the browser print dialog. The names stay in this tab until you close it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make a class attendance sheet?

Type the class name and paste one student per line, then choose Attendance. Names run down the page and dates run across. Choose 1 to 10 date columns. Set the first date to fill the headings, or leave it blank and write the dates on the paper. School days only skips Saturday and Sunday. Mark each box P for present, A for absent, T for tardy, or E for excused.

What columns are on the reading log?

Each student gets one row. Beside the name, the columns are title, author, pages, date, and parent initial. A parent initials the line after that reading. With no names in the box, the log prints blank rows you can fill in by hand.

What is on the class roster?

The roster is a numbered list of the names you pasted, in the same order. The number starts at 1 and follows the list. It is a simple class list for a binder, a field trip, or a substitute folder.

How many names fit, and where is the list kept?

The sheet uses the first 40 names. Further lines stay in the box and are left off the page. An attendance sheet stops at 10 date columns so the dates still fit across. The class name and the list stay in this browser tab. Print sheet opens the browser print dialog, and closing the tab clears the names.
