This division chart is a division table for facts from 1 through 12. The numbers down the side are the divisors, the numbers across the top are the quotients, and each cell is the dividend (divisor × quotient), so the row for 7 and the column for 8 reads 56, because 56 ÷ 7 = 8. That layout covers ordinary facts such as 56 ÷ 7, 81 ÷ 9, and 144 ÷ 12. The addition toggle uses the same 1-10 or 1-12 grid as an addition chart, and the cell where 8 meets 7 is the sum 15. Highlight one divisor row and print the chart for a wall or a homework folder.
Reading the division table and the addition chart
The division chart is a grid of dividends. Find the divisor down the left side and the quotient along the top, then read the cell where that row and column meet. The cell is the number you divide: row 7 and column 8 is 56, because 56 ÷ 7 = 8. Choose a divisor in Highlight divisor, or press the number at the start of a row, and that whole divisor row is shaded.
Addition uses the same numbers. Each cell is the row plus the column, so the row for 8 and the column for 7 reads 15, because 8 + 7 = 15. The grid opens on 1 through 12, which is the range on a standard printable division chart and addition chart, and the Numbers control switches it to 1 through 10 when a shorter table is enough.
